Jake Pinkston hit the first Home Run ever hit at Fairfax City's two year old 90' Providence Field!

 

On June 9th playing for the Fairfax Little League Senior Red Sox team, Jake Pinkston hit the first Home Run ever hit out of Providence Field.

·         Providence Field which opened for play in the Fall of 2010 has dimensions of 370’ to Center, 320’ to Left and 315’ to right.

·         Jake’s HR cleared the Left Center field fence which is estimated to be 350’.

·         On the night Jake went 3 for 3 with a single, double, home run and an intentional Walk.

·         The Fairfax Senior Red Sox beat the Lower Loudon Senior Nationals 12-6 behind pitching by Kaden Darrow and Connor Post.

·         The Lower Loudon team was comprised 100% by High School Varsity and JV players from Park View and Dominion High Schools.
