2012 Junior, Senior and Big League Baseball Players,
“Early” Registration for the Spring 2012 season ends Jan 31st!
· Register for Fairfax Little League Baseball (before Jan 31st ) and save $25 per player

League age = how old the player is on 30 April 2012
· “Juniors” is for players league age 13 and 14
· “Seniors” is for players league age 15 and 16
· “Big League” is for players league age 17 and 18
Spring 2012 rough Schedule
· Rising Junior Evaluations will be held Sunday Feb 26th (see below for more info)
· Junior and Senior teams will form in early March and practices will start as soon as the weather allows.
· Junior games will start on or about March 26th and run through the last week of school.
· Big League teams will form in mid-May, immediately after the High School baseball seasons are over, and play games through the last week of school .
· All Star Tournament Teams are announced in mid-June and those players selected will get to practice and play games on through mid-July or longer.
Junior Evaluations: Sunday February 26th / Fairfax High School Gym
· Sign-in 6:30 to 6:45pm / Warm-ups 6:45 to 7:00pm / Evaluation is : 7:00pm-9:00pm
· All Junior players who DID NOT play on a FxLL Juniors team during the Spring 2011 season must attend Evaluations to be eligible for the 2011 Draft.
· Players being evaluated must arrive by NLT 6:45pm to check-in and have time to warm-up.
· Bring glove, bat, helmet and wear good sneakers (no cleats).
· Note: There are no Evaluations for Junior players who were on a Junior team during the Spring 2011 season.
· Note: There are no Evaluations for Senior and Big League players.
New in 2012 – “Big League” Baseball! :
· In 2012 we are expanding to include Big League baseball for players league age 17 and 18 years old.
· The Big League season does not start until mid-May immediately after the High School baseball season is over.
High School Baseball Players!
· Players that make their High School Baseball teams are highly encouraged to also sign up for Little League Baseball too so that they can keep playing baseball after their HS season is over through June and July.
· Deadlines for players on a High School Baseball team to register for Little League and secure a spot on a team are: (Juniors March 4th / Seniors March 18th / Big League May 1st )
· High School players in Seniors and Big League are guaranteed to get to play with their High School teammates because Senior and Big League teams are formed by what schools the players go to.
· High School players should not practice or play games in Little League until after their High School baseball season is over in May, unless their High School coach grants them permission (check with your HS coach, each school has a different policy).
· High School players only need to play in 60% of the Little League games played after their High School baseball season is over to be eligible for All Star consideration
