FFX LL Fall Ball Update and Last Day to Register

Today is the last day to Register for Fall Ball. If you are planning
to play this Fall, it is very important to register today, because
drafts begin this weekend. Go to http://www.eteamz.com/fairfaxll/index.cfm?subsite=2780812.

Player evaluations or try-outs are NOT held in the Fall. Managers
draft players for AA and above based on age, prior level and player
stats from the Spring season. Drafts will be held over the next week
or so, so players should expect to hear from their mangers in the next
two weeks, with higher levels earlier and Single A not likely until
the week of August 24th.

Once teams are selected, your manager will provide a pre-season
practice schedule, Most will begin Saturday August 22nd, but when an
individual team's practices begin will depend on the Manager's
availability.

Games will start the week of September 7th, but no games will be
scheduled for Labor Day. Games run through the end of October.
Similar to Spring, teams play two games per week, one on a week night
and one on Saturday. Teams generally practice once a week also.
