Spring Registration is Open. Be sure to take advantage of the Early
Bird and Multi-Child Discount.
Winter Training Sessions: I know the fall season has not yet ended;
but, our Training Coordinator is busy preparing for the winter
training sessions. Check the website for updates on when each of the
Leagues has their sessions.
Spring Try Outs: Currently scheduled for Friday (2/19) and Saturday
(2/20) at Fairfax High School. All players who wish to be eligible
for the Junior, Little League Majors, and the AAA and AA levels of the
Minor League Division, shall participate in the League’s evaluation,
except those players who were already drafted onto a Juniors or Majors
team for the Spring 2009 season. More information on times will be
posted as it becomes available.
Volunteers Needed: There are a lot of moving parts that make a
baseball season memorable. It takes a huge supporting cast (managers,
assistant coaches, field crew, scorekeepers, pitch counters, snack
coordinator, photographer, webmaster, etc). It is through your
efforts that memories are built in these boys and girls that will last
a lifetime. If you have ever thought about helping out…the stars may
be aligning for you to take the plunge. Just drop your League
President or Volunteer Coordinator a line if you think you are
interested.
Sponsors: Be sure to check out our Sponsor page and patronize them to
let them know we appreciate them being a big part of our community.
Fairfax Little League T-shirts: Newly designed T-shirts are available
at the Pickett Snack Bar. They are $13 and adult and child sizes are
available. There is a picture of the shirt at
http://www.eteamz.com/fairfaxll/news/index.cfm?cat=255250 These make
great holiday gifts.
If you played Fall Ball I hope everyone is having a great season and
also had some fun along the way. If you didn’t play Fall Ball…we look
forward to seeing you in the spring.
