Parent Workshop at Player Evaluations

Parents -

 

Player evaluations for the Spring Season will be held on Saturday, February 20th @ Fairfax High School Field House,  Times vary by league and age - check the league website for more information (schedule attached).  Please plan for at least one parent per household to attend one of the three 30 minute PCA (Positive Coaching Alliance) Parent Workshops to be held during player evaluations at 10:30 am, 11:30 am & 12:45 pm.

 

Fairfax Little League has Partnered with Positive Coaching Alliance whose mission is:   To Transform Youth Sports So Sports Can Transform Youth.   These workshops help us to learn to focus on the BIG Picture and to use sports experiences to teach life lessons.  PCA's goal is to help develop character so kids develop into successful, contributing members of society.

 

I can truly say that PCA Coach and Parent Workshops I have attended have helped provide tools and approaches to help me make the most of my own kids' sports experiences and teach some important life lessons.  Come learn about the ELM Tree of Mastery & the ROOTS of Honoring the Game and how you can become a Culture Keeper.  I know you will find this session extremely valuable !!  Hope to see you there !!
