Make-up Evaluations Next Saturday

February 26, 8-9pm at Fairfax High School (3501 Rebel Run)

American and National Leagues only (Dominion will NOT hold make-up evaluations)

Dick's Sporting Goods Discount Day Next Sunday

10am-2pm -- 15% off that can be used in conjunction with the coupons you received at Evaluations (see attachment for more information)

Drafts

Once all of the evaluations have been held for AA-Majors, each League will conduct drafts to select players for each teams.  Majors are first, then AAA and finally AA, so it takes up to two weeks to complete the process.  Single A and Tball are assigned primarily based on neighborhood/schools.  You should expect to hear from your Manager by mid-March.  If you have not heard by mid-March, please contact your League's Player Agent found on the Board Members Page - http://www.leagueathletics.com/Contacts.asp?n=40438&snid=kHI%40S%3EL7%5F&org=fairfaxll.com 

 

Field Clean-up Day Saturday March 5th, 1-5pm

We need all hands out to prepare the fields for the season.  As a part of the field maintenance crew, your skills and abilities may be used to mow grass, replace dirt, and execute minor repairs on fences, benches and bleachers.  Please mark 3/5 on your calendar.  More information is provided in the attached document.  Each League will be responsible for a set of fields and will contact parents to let them where they need to be that day.

Practices Start March 12th for most teams at all levels (weather permitting)

 

Opening Day Ceremony April 2nd

Our Opening Day Ceremonies include a parade of players, fire trucks, and dignitaries through the streets around Chilcott, including right on Route 50 and the first Challenger Games.  More information will be provided as we get closer.
