After taking a winter vacation out Rhode Island Reds are cleaning out their
laying box and restarting production.
They are having problems with quality control producing very light brown
shelled eggs in each batch
Production is consistent, but each run produces the light brown shelled eggs
with a textured surface.
Their processes have remained the same as last fall when their egg shells
were a nice dark brown.
Their feed and oyster shell supplier has not changed their ingredient
specifications.
They have sanitized their coop and changed their bedding. Phew!
So they are wondering what's wrong with their production process in this new
year.
Additionally, they are getting extra time in the yard destroying all forms
of ornamental and native vegetation and seem very happy with their progress
on ruining the human habitat.
Oh, one more thing... One of the Rhodies seems to be complaining about loose
bowels! Yech!
They have asked me to send you this note with hopes that you can provide
Ovum Production Consulting services to solve their dilemma.
