There are 42 Spider-Bots in the game. Introduced during a Mission in the Main Story called Spider-Spy?, they are a type of Collectible that isn't tracked on your Map. Instead, they emit a pulse and an audio cue to let you know when you're near one. They never appear as icons on your overall Map, making them a lot harder to find. When you're close to one, though, they do appear as a purple spider on your mini-map. You can track the ones you've discovered in the Collections tab on the pause menu. Below you'll find all Spider-Bots locations.

Climb to the top of the tallest building in the southwestern corner of Upper West Side, then look down on its western side out to the water. You'll spot the Spider-Bot clinging to the side.

This Spider-Bot is positioned high in the sky, out of reach of any building. To claim it, go northeast of its position into Midtown to find a very tall building with an open air vent on top. Deploy your Web Wings over it and glide over to pick up the Spider-Bot.

Up high in the sky near the bridge leading to Williamsburg. There's a very tall apartment building just to the west of its location you can jump off and use your Web Wings to glide across and get it.

In the middle of the Financial District is an open space without any buildings. Go there, and look up into the sky to spot this Spider-Bot. Just southeast of it is an open vent on top of a tall building you can use your Web Wings on to reach it.

Up in the air towards the southern border of Williamsburg. You can deploy your Web Wings over an open air vent northeast of its position to get the height you need to grab it.

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

There are 42 Spider-bots to collect in Spider-Man 2, but they are not that easy to locate as other categories of collectibles, as they don't appear as blips on the mini-map. Check our map and video guide to learn where to find all collectibles and how to get the Agent of SHIELD suit. Finding all Spider-bots will also unlock a trophy - Funky Wireless Protocols.

Spider-bots are small mechanical spiders that you won't see on the map or mini-map like the rest of the collectibles. However, when you get close to one, it will start pulsating pink light and emit a distinctive sound. Spider-bots are easily overlooked when full-speed gliding across the city, so we recommend thorough searching by exploring rooftops and web swinging through side alleys.

The friendly neighborhood webslinger is back once more in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and with it comes a bevy of world building nuggets to find. Insomniac Games has created a massive open world to explore, from snapping pictures of iconic locations to chasing down robotic flying birds. There's so much to do in the open world with some that need guidance.

One of the collectibles you will be incentivized to find are Spider-Bots, little spider robots scattered across New York City that represent some of the best Spider-Man universes. There are a staggering 42 to be found throughout the city, and we have the location of every one neatly packaged in this one article.

This is one of the few collectibles that the game doesn't show you where they are directly on your map, but instead have to look for little beacons while swinging through the world (or unlocking a special skill later into the campaign).
