HADEES E SAHIH by Prophet(S.A.W) 

"None of u can be a believer until i become dearer to him than his parents, his children and all the believers."

 

There are 3 rights of prophet S.A.W on us, namely - respect, love & following his footsteps. Unless the first two are deeply engraved, the third cannot erupt. 

 

Thus decieving our ownselves by thinking that we have immense love for our prophet s.a.w, is a meaningless claim, when we dont actually obey & follow him from dawn to dusk & that being the real parameter of judging our love for him.
