Hi,

Today someone recommended me to drink hot teas, and someone
recommended to drink NOT_hot teas.

I've been thinking about this and it is interesting that one can get
two completely different tips about the same problem.

I don't remember who was who, so I am asking the providers of these
advices to write back and let me know who they are and what exactly
they said. I need to double-check something :-)

The old fashioned ways say that you have to drink tea ”cu malină” and milk ”cu miere”. And the chicken soup. (Well, the not so old fashioned ways. The real old way (long ago in a distance land) was to sacrifice a virgin (I did not find any real evidence of this (I presume it was a sacrifice, and I assumed it had to be a virgin (or maybe some animals)))
(just kidding,but Egyptians used some religious incantations along with the ”medical” methods)

I said about the tea. And about honey, or wanted to mention honey but forgot.
Actually when you left I though that when someone has indeed a real problem, "бабушкины советы" won't really help. So I assume one needs to take medicine.

The story with liquids is that... At one point I realized that I
followed everybody's tips... However, an exception was thrown only
when my mom said "hey, you didn't have any hot tea, did you?" :-)

I had hot tea, I had "room temperature" drinks, and I had sips of cold
drinks too, I also endured thirst. All of you couldn't have been right.

{
Shun advice at any price,
that's what I call
"good advice"
}
Piet Hein

I know this may sound weird, but I really like his work. His poems are
short, even.. tiny - and they really make sense :-) If you found some
Easter eggs in the TPS report sheet - he wrote them.

There's also Dorothy Parker, here's a sample:
{
Unfortunate Coincidence

By the time you swear you're his,
Shivering and sighing,
And he vows his passion is
Infinite, undying -
Lady make a note of this:
One of you is lying.
}

See? I told you -it is short and it makes sense. Too bad we didn't
have these at school, I'd definitely choose to learn by heart one of
these :-)

Another fellow who wrote short stuff:
{
A man said to the universe:
“Sir, I exist!"
“However,” replied the universe,
“The fact has not created in me
“A sense of obligation.”
}
Stephen Crane

That, and of course, "Pasarea" by Grigore Vieru.
