How long has everyone owned their Compacts?

Hi everyone,

I just passed the 10th anniversary of buying my Compact, and I was wondering how long everyone else has had theirs? I use mine nearly every day, and it has prepared thousands of good espressos at this point. It has moved across the country with me and is currently in its fifth city. The only significant repairs I've had to do are replacing the pump and heating element (I stripped the terminals. It didn't fail).

I just looked, bought mine from a restaurant March 2011, have used it continuously since then....

Original rebuild: new pump, 3 way valve, rewire, gaskets, missing portafilter.

I am on my second pump and have purchased a spare element.

Other than that the machine is a beast with multiple uses every day.   I do keep it clean and prefilter water.
