C84/1 group head solenoid valve activating by itself

Hi

My C84/1 group head solenoid valve activating by itself, seems to stick on, have seen a wee puff of smoke come out of it.

Wondering if this will be a fault in the solenoid or a fault  somewhere else causing the solenoid to fail?

Any help much appreciated, missing my morning coffee!

The circuit is fairly simple. When the grouphead valve fails electrical it is usually stuck in the off position. If your model has the single delivery switch "1 round button" I would suspect it may be that and not the solinoid.
