Volume adjustment

I have a refurbished Faema Compact A 2 group machine and find the amount of coffee produced is too much. I would like to lower the amount but don't know how. A repairman showed me a couple of small switches in the right hand side control box that he said did this but text is rubbed off and I don't now where to start. 

I have searched for answers but it seems I am the only one with this problem! Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Paddy, I suspect you’ll get a better answer, but my single group in any case has some small adjustment screws, top left as I recall under the cup warmer tray towards the front of the machine. I shall send photos when I get a chance if no one else does but mine isn’t in use at the moment so I’ll need to go into the storeroom.

Duncan thank you for this info. I do not see the adjustment screws but a photo would maybe of some help. The person who serviced my machine some years ago said they were inside the power control box in the font right hand corner of the machine just behind the pilot light. In order to see these again I will have to take the top off the power box. I won't do this if what you say is true and the volume control is near the cup tray on the top of the machine.
