***Manitowoc. It's north of Milwaukee about 1.5 hours and has a car
ferry that goes across Lake MI to Ludington, I believe. The town's a
little famous for that.

***Glad to meet another Wisconsinite.
How is living in Japan? I'm thinking your experience while being bicultural
and bilingual would be a huge plus for you.
***Japan has been very good to me. It's a matter of whether you can
adapt to a very different environment and to the culture. I wouldn't
recommend trekking over here to teach anymore, unless your credentials
are very good (it used to be you needed almost none...) as the bubble
has burst. However, it's a nice place to visit.
***I would also think my bicultural aspect would be very helpful. If
you happen along a company interested in someone with a combination of
MBA and many years of university teaching experience. However, not
having a track record in the US and age (though still below 50) are
issues.
Other than that, eventually, I would welcome a critique on my academic
resume once I get it done. I would be happy to reciprocate in some
way, as well.
Kristen, I appreciate your upbeat news about your and your husband's
online careers. It sounds wonderful and it's great that you're
enjoying your work.
Looking forward to staying in touch. Thanks again for the forum.
