Anyway, I'm happy to upload journal names as I find them, and think if
all did so, it would be a good resource.
About overwhelm, I am in agreement with that (!) I recently decided
too, that because of stress issues and a heavy schedule, that my PhD
is going to be my hobby, not the holy grail. I'm older, not all that
marketable, and can't place all my eggs in the PhD basket at this
stage of my life.
About getting hired for online teaching, my dilemma is my Bachelor's
is in Education, my Master's is in Business, and now my PhD studies
are in Education, though with a management twist.
The majority of my teaching experience is in intercultural
communication / EFL, though I have taught some biz classes in the US
at the post secondary level.
I think to get jobs in online teaching is going to be similar to on
the ground teaching - need to network. I am surprised that it is so
competitive.
Regarding the size of the group, it's small, and could grow some, but
I do prefer smaller groups, as I feel that the discussions are of
higher quality and/or meaningful relationships can be made.
Kind regards,
Hershey Wier
