विषय / Subject: Requirement of Non Plan Grant for 2026-27

Reference: HoD’s meeting held on 3rd June 2026 regarding Annual Procurement Policy 

 

As per above reference, HoD has to submit the Departmental Annual Procurement Plan to Dean(P&D) by 15th June 2026 and has to give a presentation to the institute level committee. In view of this, It is instructed to all faculty members kindly provide the asked details in proper format by 8th June 2026 to the CONCERN COORDINATORS. You can take the help of your lab staff and research scholars to prepare the same.

 

1.     Details of requirement (Each item on separate page), submit to CONCERN COORDINATORS in soft copy and signed hard copy:

            Name of Item

            Tentative Cost

            Specifications

            Specify lab, program (UG/PG), location etc.

            Details of existing same or related item

            Justification to procure the item

            Any other details

 

2.     Also submit all items summaries in following formats to CONCERN COORDINATORS soft copy and signed hard copy:

In this regard following Committees are formulated to collect the details of requirement.

 

1.     Furniture and related (MNV & SMK)

(e.g., Office, Remaining faculty room, Smart Classroom, Meeting room, Seminar room, MTech Room, Labs etc.)

2.     Computer, Softwares, ACs, & Related (ASC, RNM & AK)

(e.g. Screens, Projector, Comuter, Printer, Cameras, Online Facility, ACs in faculty room, class rooms, meeting/seminar/smart class rooms etc.)

3.     Equipments/Instruments for Bioprocess Technology Labs (PBD & SPT)

4.     High End / High Value Instruments / Equipment (SAM & VRP)

(expecting to be proposed by faculty members who have not procured any high end item earlier, also this will be department facility and coordinator of that item will be changed in 2-3 years)

5.     Minor Equipments (APR & AD)

6.     Books, Journals etc. (SSS & AK)

7.     Major Repair (needs plan grant) (DZS & APG, )

8.     Any other item not listed above (KLW)

Dear All,
Thanks for giving the requirement for Plan-Grant. Still in most of the cases following information is missing mainly existing facility / infrastructure or how you are managing at present without that facility. Also put a realistic value/cost/price of the items.

So, kindly provide the signed hard copy separately (this was already mentioned in an earlier email.  I have pasted the same text here.) to concern coordinators. Without this document, it may not be considered. Also, if concern coordinators want more details, they can ask the same to the faculty members. In addition, HoD will ask for a few more details if needed as he has to present to the Director/Dean(P&D)/Committee.
