First public pics of a new biochar stove design being developed by one
of the ceramic stove specialist Reinhart von Zschock and Matt Dunwell
of Ragman's Lane Farm.

They ask: "Any ideas about how to put a sterling engine or an
appropriate small steam engine onto a biochar stove?!"

Can you help?

Enjoy!

Josef.

Hi Joseph

Here are some pics

We stil have some tweaking to do before we put out a PDF  - then we
are moving on to a village scale biochar stove.  As you may have seen
biochar has come in for a bit of flak in th press recently and I am
working on set of principles for small biochar producers that will
separate us from the agro industrial guys hopefully.  The debate is
still in its early stages ‘tabloid’ phase and I want to try and get a
more measured debate going.   (see att)   still in its v early stage.

Any ideas about how to put a sterling engine or an appropriate small
steam engine onto a biochar stove?!

Matt
