Accounting for repeated measures

Hi Everyone! So sorry if this is quite basic, but I'm new to PCA and can't find the answers to my question through an online search or in this group. I hope I didn't just miss it (I'm sure I did and its an understanding barrier).

I am doing a PCA on a bunch of climate variables that are measured at various sites. Each site has been measured across multiple years. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to incorporate repeated measures with FactoMineR. If anyone has some tips on how to do this, that would be great!

Hi,

The site should be your line in the analysis. Then, if you have several variables measured each year, you can structure your dataset with several group of variables (1 groups corresponds to all the variable measured on 1 year). And then you can apply Multiple Factor Analysis for instance. See these videos for more details on this method: https://husson.github.io/MOOC.html#MFAcourse
