Dear forumites,
Are the supplementary variables in FactoMineR PCA supposed to be located at the same position along the principal components as the environmental variables positioned with rda+envfit in vegan? I tried and didn't get the same coordinates, and I wonder why. Thanks in advance,
Jean-Luc

Hi,
I don't know the package vegan, but maybe the variables are not standardized in vegan, whereas there are in FactoMineR. If you want to have unstandardized variables, use scale.unit=FALSE in the PCA function.
