It sucks and I hate it. We've bid on a couple houses we really liked,
but lost. Then, just when we got serious about buying the house we
live in, the basement flooded. So, we're kind of in limbo.

Ugh. That sucks. We didn't have it particularly easy when it came to
buying a house but it sounds like you guys are having it worse. Hope
things figure themselves out soon.

We're having a BBQ for Alyson's birthday if you need to get out for a bit.

Hey everyone,

Today is the day they finish working on my house.  We moved David's stuff in and still have to cram in the stuff from my storage unit.  We refinance early next week, so the house will offically be ours.  Scarry.

Hope all is well with y'all.

Good luck with getting that all taken care of. I hope it looks
fabulous. After all the delays you guys deserve something that is
magnificent.

Howdy all.

I'm doing well surgery recovery wise. I've gone from a 76 size pant to
a loose 58 in 11 months. I'm going back to school this summer. I
really need to finish college... Kind of looking forward to that yet
not.. Still unemployed but everythings going kind of well otherwise.

That's good news.  Are you still living near Winchester?

Warrenton, yep. Winchester is about 50 miles north or so? I dont
really know since I've never been there haha. Not much here,
definitely no gaming grrr... Not even a decent comicbook shop... I am
equidistant (roughly) between Game Parlor Chantilly and The Game Vault
in Fredericksburg (my old stomping grounds) so thats nice. Still, I
miss you guys; havent even found a new gaming group yet again...

I can see that. If I was working again I'd be there in a heartbeat for
gaming. But right now I need all my spare cash for schoolbooks... $300
for 1 book? I'm being robbed! and it doesnt even come with free
software!

I think part of the problem is that our fearless leader has gone MIA.
Its too bad, but all games break down eventually.

Sean,
Ouch on the school books. Good for you though. What are you getting
your degree in? Hopefully something that will mean money for gamebooks
in the not so distant future.

Well, I am going to Strayer so yeah... its expensive allwayround...

I'm going for my BS in Computer Science with an emphasis in
Internetworking. Its what I've started already with some of the Cisco
courses I took at a community college. I've got enough electives open
that I can get a minor in either Accounting (if I can suffer through
the math) or most likely Information Security Systems/Home Land
Securilty thingy that Strayer offers. We'll see how it goes. I'm
taking 2 classes this quarter and next quarter I'll be doing 3 or 4
though we'll see how that goes. I might just do 3 since I dont know if
I'll be able to keep a good GPA with 4... Strayer is an accelerated
learning schedule so its pretty intense. We'll see how it goes. I'm
really looking forward to it.
