Sorry, some of you will receive multiple copies of this, but I don't want to miss anyone.

Each December, the Facilitators Guild tries to dedicate its meeting time to a dialogue on how the Guild can best apply its time in the coming year.  This year, we will try to address our long-range goal of changing the way our community engages in civic discourse through facilitated dialogue.  Specifically, we'll use a framework that Bob shared with us today.  It articulates six conditions that need to be in place in order for real change to occur.  We'll do an assessment (through dialogue) of our community based on those six conditions, in the hope that this will indicate what activities in 2011 might move our community toward greater utilization of facilitated dialogue in the future.

We've decided to have a longer meeting than usual, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, and then have lunch together on site, catered by the Soup Spoon.  We would love to see you at this meeting, even if you have attended few or no sessions of the guild previous.  In order to get an accurate count for lunch, however, it is important that you RSVP to me by December 3.  Thanks.

The meeting will be at the Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED), 1615 Michigan Avenue.
