WiZiQ invitation for catherines online event

Hi All,

 

I have sent many of you an invitation  to join the WiZiQ network Integrating technologies of my two presenters, Nellie and Gladys. I sent invites to individual email accounts I  have already received or have in my contacts, rather that FOC09 Google groups account. Can you please accept the invitation and then join WiZiQ, or sign in if you have already done so.

I don’t have Skype at work. My work email is rwi...@e-BLS.com but I receive the group emails as well.  I’m confused, is the meeting now in Skype or is it still in Elluminate?

The meeting was in skype, I updated the wiki yesterday and sent an email, sorry if this was confusing. I just had to abandon the skype meeting aswell as it crashed. Gosh I don’t know about this online meeting stuff!!! I think I send out bad vibes!!!!

 

I now have to try an alternative way of meeting and I will keep you posted on this.

Hi Kylee, have you thought of using an Elluminate 30 day trial meeting room of your own?    One of my presenters can't get into Otago's Elluminate ( I suspect because she uses a Mac, but the other one can and she has a Mac too, so not sure really), BUT she can get into the 30 day trial meeting room which we set up OK.  We are using the trial meeting room as our back-up plan and for practicing.  (Then you also don't have to meet with Sarah to make you a moderator as it is your meeting room).   I have heard that Skype gets a bit dicey with more than 4 people.  You have had quite a lot of bad luck haven't you - surely it can only get better! Despite the access issues I found DimDim very user friendly. The power point worked well as did the audio (although limited to 3) and there is chat as well. I know you had technical problems though, I recall your screen froze for my meeting? It does need to be hosted by someone with a good broadband connection. It is a suggestion anyway.
