Hi,

I'm still happy to arrange this trip. I’ve chosen Saturday 6th, as it looks vaguely better weather-wise. Although obviously it’s way too far away to be sure what the weather will do, and anyway it’s October so it’s pretty much guaranteed to be raining.

Plan is for a relatively gentle day out in the Loch Tay area (circa 5hrs walking), with no ascent of any Inaccessible Pinnacles or similar silliness. Not decided where yet; possibly the Tarmachan ridge, which is the classic of the region (but let me know if the Fachans have already done this and I can find an alternative).

Please reply to let me know if you’re interested and I’ll get a proper plan together in the next couple of days.

Cheers,

Roy

Roy,

I confirm my interest in a walk this Saturday. I would however only come if I can find someone to bum a ride from departing out of Edinburgh. I look forward to hearing the plan for the day.

Hi Roy,

I hope you're well. My knee saga continues  - I had reconstructive surgery on my acl last month so no hills till next year.

Back in the dim and distant past circa 2008 /09 I remember a Grontmij trip to Tarmachan ridge.

Hopefully see you on the hills sooner rather than later

Hi,

I am happy to join this trip. Is there anyone who would have a space in the car for me? Livingston or Edinburgh would suits me best.

Regards,

Dorota

Hello all,

I’ve had a little interest in the trip (so far one car-full). If you would like to come along and haven’t yet expressed an interest, speak now or forever hold your peace.

I understand that the club has previously been up Meall nan Tarmachan, so I’ve decided not to repeat it. Instead I propose doing Stuchd an Lochain (although probably not by the route shown on the website, as I reckon I can do better). It looks like a nice short day out (3-4hrs walking) on an interesting hill, with good views if the weather is nice. It should be a lot quieter than the Lawers hills, and Glen Lyon is very pretty if you haven’t seen it before.

I’ll put together a proper route sheet and circulate it around before the end of the week.

Cheers,
Roy

Morning Roy,

Hoping to join a trip at some point. My colleague Duncan Mure may also be interested, can he be added to the mailing list?

Kind regards,
