Fife Chain Walk

As the last walk of the year approaches, I hope there will be a good turn-out for the Fife Chain Walk. As my experience of hill-walking is somewhat limited, somebody kindly nominated myself to arrange a slightly different type of walk. For those of you unaware of its existence, the Fife Chain Walk follows the cliffs between Kincraig Point and Shell Bay Caravan Park along the coast to the west of Elie. Shuffling around, beneath and over the craggy rocks, a series of chains and footholds helps you along the way. This should be a fun, exciting walk and so long as I get the timings correct we should remain relatively dry!

 

I will make up a proper route card and itinerary once I have a fair number of who is going (and who might be requiring a lift). Please let me know by the end of tomorrow. I will be on site all of next week but hope to be back in Edinburgh on Friday night. I am therefore free to do the walk on either Saturday 3^rd or Sunday 4^th Novemeber; if you have a preference (or would rather make it a later date) then let me know!
