But Mare, tell us how you really feel?! Robin is wearin' on my last
nerve as well. On a previous incarnation on the show, when she was
with Stone, then Jason, etc., she was not like she is now. She was a
goody-goody, as I recall, very sensible, very caring, a do-anything-
for-ya kind of gal. I don't know when she became the perfectionist -
I honestly don't recall her being like that before. Of course, it
doesn't help my memory at all when the other characters confirm that
she has always been a perfectionist, but I just don't recall that at
all. She is annoying for sure - I'm not sure how poor Patrick puts up
with her.
I'm not sure I agree with you about the suicide - I'm still wrapping
my head around the same sex marriage Gumby got herself into on AMC
(don't watch that one any more, just heard about it on commercials,
etc.). Plus, I don't think there is a "tasteful", or for that matter,
"correct" way to portray suicide. It's unfortunate people find
themselves in that position that they feel it is their only option.
Last year my finance's younger sister (age 26) committed suicide after
suffering for years with Crohn's disease. The entire family was
devastated, particularly since there was no note or anything, but they
assume she was suffering another flareup and just couldn't handle it
any more.
Oh, and her name isn't Robin - it's Kimberly.

Although, I don't understand, why Jax went to Jason today, to ask him to not do anything about Jerry, until after Carly's pregnancy proceeds? You gotta give it to this guy....he's got some nerve....years ago, didn't he go and ask Sonny to get Jerry out of the country, for his own good, after some dastardly deed (I forget what). What's the dif, if Jason whacks Jerry now or later.....oh, right, Jax mentioned that Carly would be upset if it were Jason who were to be hurt, in that match-up.

This character is the most annoying (I've said it before), condescending, person on any soap I think I've ever watched.....and, I don't think she's gonna be winning any acting awards, anytime soon. Not at least as far as I'm concerned. Watching Robin McCullough act out the role of Robin Scorpio, is almost physically painful for me to watch, and I'm wondering if her character has the same first name, as her real name, because she might forget to answer when called? I think if TPTB really want to push the envelop on social ills, let's have her commit suicide. No disrespect. But, I don't think this has been approached yet (has it?), except for Powell, on OLTL, who committed suicide, after participating in the gang rape of Marty, years ago.....who, now, magically (am I wrong?) has reappeared on the scene. Apparently, people who kill themselves, might not actually be dead, DEAD, as opposed to "soap" dead, just like characters that (don't) die from other causes, natural or otherwise.
