I am trying to print a bust of myself from photos. The result looks very good on the screen and when I import it to Simplify3D is looks good also. When I send it to print, The base and the head/hair look good, but I get a complete empty space where the neck is supposed to be. I am new at this 3D print world and am not sure what I may be doing wrong. Am I missing some magic print setting :-)? (I used the supports suggested by Simplify3D and so they acted like a splint to hold the head in place. But the neck is an empty hole (not even any fill). It is like it was not there. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello Fred,

From the Parts -> Head tab, make sure you've selected 'Solid' rather than 'Hollow No Neck'.

Then go to File -> Export

Best wishes,
