where is facegen artist pro????

Hello, been looking for tutorials but they all seem to skip initial setup, where exactly is facegen located on my computer? I can see a facegen tab in daz studio to import the face, my understanding thus far is you must create the face in facegen then import via this tab, is facegen a standalone app? do i open it from within Daz studio? if so how and where? any help to get me started much appreciated thanks.

Hello Daniel,

FaceGen Artist is a standalone application.

Once you've installed it by double-clicking the downloaded .MSI file and agreeing to installation terms, you can start it in 2 ways:

1. Double-click the the icon of a face with 'FaceGen Artist' written below it on your desktop.

2. Click the Windows start menu (bottom left corner of screen usually) then type in 'facegen' and select FaceGen Artist.

Thank you, i must not have downloaded the standalone app? Where do i download facegen artist pro? I downloaded it through the daz install manager when I purchased it, its not on my computer as a standalone, ive searched? what am I missing here? thanks

To see where Daz Install Manager has put the MSI file:

1. Go to the 'Installed' tab, click on the right arrow at the far right of the FaceGen Artist line item

2. Select 'Show Installed Files'

Double-click the MSI file to install.
