im new to this program and for some reason my facees wont save as a jpg file. all i get is an fg file that i cant do anything with. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you want to save the viewport image to a JPG file, use FaceGen Modeller and select File -> Image -> Save

FaceGen Artist is for exporting to Daz Studio and does not save images.

Hi, Rob

If you want an image file from FaceGen Artist, your option is to take a screenshot of the viewport.

However, if you don't want to go through FaceGen Modeller, consider the option of downloading DAZ Studio (free), and using it to create the images in jpg, png, BMP, tiff.

You'll export your face created in Artist to Daz Studio, then add it to the model in DAZ. 

Yes, it's a bit of a learning curve to learn the basics of DAZ, but the final results can be incredible.
