How to connect via username & password and post social cards?

We want to automate the sending of message content to our staff's social media accounts, e.g. Facebook. We are thinking of publishing via "Social Cards" with link to a website of the article (so it would be image based posts).

First how can I convert a good old username & password to the OAuth login and then what API would I use for publishing these 'Social Cards'? Lastly is there any permission I have to configure on the Facebook site to allow the posting?

I like to know also, how can write an application, login with my own username and password and load the new feeds from facebook?
