Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented Development/Support individual with very
good knowledge of (C#) programming, databases and excellent communication skills.
In this role the successful candidate will join the development team
responsible for automating funding of Credit Facilities and P/L calculations as
well as the maintenance and support of the existing infrastructure for the
Asset Securitization Middle Office.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the development a multi-tier and
component based application.
Candidate will be a team player capable of working with immediate team members,
business analysts, and IT support groups.
The position is located in Jersey City, although some time will be spent in the
New York office.
Duties and Responsibilities
" Participate in design, development and testing of the Starbird
application.
" Support and maintenance of Starbird.
" Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
" Communicate status and report issues to the development manager.
Qualifications
5+ years of C# development experience.
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Excellent knowledge of .NET,
ASP.NET, and Java scripts.
Very good GUI skills.
Excellent knowledge of databases (SQL Server preferred)
Good knowledge of .NET
Framework 3.5 & 4.0 Technologies (WPF, WCF)
Good knowledge of Crystal
Reports.
Candidate must be an excellent analytical problem solver.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Skills:
Experience with data reconciliations.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of Infragistics
tools (3rd party tools).
Familiarity with Capital
Markets especially as it relates to loan concepts.
Proactive team player with a "can-do" attitude.
Attention to detail, thoroughness a must.
