Rate: $50-55/hr.

ALBANY, New York.

Start Date: 01-10-2011.

Mandatory Requirements: Mandatory Skills/Expertise Required Years of Experience:
1. Minimum 8 years performing Business Systems Analysis, performing duties such as requirements elicitation and documentation, process and data analysis, process and data modeling, creating and executing test plans, functional specifications. At least one year of this experience must be on a Java-based, web application project. 8 yrs.
2. Minimum 8 years experience in Application System development
projects which use a formal System Development Life Cycle with
specific tasks and distinct deliverables. 8 yrs.
3. Minimum 4 years experience in Technical Writing performing duties such as the creation of system, technical and user documentation, and training materials. 4 yrs.
4. Minimum two years experience with relational database design and modeling. 2 yrs.
5. Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using the Rational suite of products including Requisite Pro, Rational Rose, Clear Quest and Test Manager. 1 yr.
6. Disclose any other employment that candidate plans to engage in while employed at NYSDOT. NA

Desirable Skills:
1. 4 years Business Analyst experience in large corporate or government agency.
2. Transportation industry work experience.
3. 3 years Business Analyst experience in a web software development environment.
4. 2 years Business Analyst experience using Oracle 9i or 10g database.
5. Strong experience in Logical Data and Process Modeling.
6. Experience working with Microsoft PeopleSoft.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage executive level resources.
8. Business Analysis certification (IIBA).
