Video Synchronization

Dear all,

I have several video sequences from multiple camera from a scene and I want to identify the face of the guy in them.
The problem I have so far is synchronizing the frames obtained from multiple cameras, so I can have several views of the face at each time. No audio signals and time tags are available for the task. So far I do the synchronization manually but as I want to automate my system in real world application (I assume no calibration phase), I need a method to do it.
Do you know any particular paper about it?
