Hi Bala,

 I think the basic purpose is to reduce the dimensions of the vector space. So you can also simply use PCA to reduce the dimensions and then take the Eigen vectors to take the projection of the data on the Principal Axis (thats why PCA Principal Component Analysis)

FLD is further a good technique.

  Thanks for your reply asif, i am doing my application using OpenCV for face recognition i have done some projection with images i need to compare the two images. Help me, how to compare two images using OpenCV.
