So I've been hacking away at the pymarc-indexer branch over the last
few months, and I'd really like to merge it back into trunk. My plan
goes like this:

1. Tag current trunk with "pre-pymarc-indexer-merge".
2. Merge branch.
3. Install Helios on my machine again and change documentation where needed.
4. Fix things that other people notice are broken or missing.

The big question I have is whether others would like to bang on the
branch first before I merge it. That would be most welcome. Also,
please speak up if you think my plan is rotten in any way.

My work on the pymarc-indexer branch has grown to encompass more than
just the indexer, and I want to combine things now that I'm making a
lot of changes that trunk could benefit from as well. Also, I've been
a little lax about filing tickets and addressing them in our Trac
instance [1] while I've been working in the branch, but I hope to be
more regimented about that once I'm working on trunk again.

Okay, so unless I get a response to the contrary, I'll go ahead with
things. I'll detail how things go and what changes I make to the
documentation in this thread. Any help is welcome!
