Dear friends,

Greetings from NFAI !

I am taking this opportunity to reconnect with all of you. I am sure you are doing well in your respective professions!

We at NFAI have been trying to reach out to people across the country so as to fulfill our mandate of preserving the national heritage. As a part of this process, we are trying to make significant additions to our collections of films, posters, photographs, lobby cards, song booklets etc. I hope after doing FA course in 2013, many of you must have been engaged in fields related to films. It would be great if those can help us in locating, getting and networking with production houses, labs, individual collectors and passionate film lovers so that original film footage of rare and archival value and also other material can be sourced so that NFAI would be able to store and preserve it for posterity.

We also are exploring idea of taking shorter module of FA course in smaller cities. This can be done in coordination with local organisations in the field of film and culture who can provide necessary infrastructure. Some of you might be associated with such organisations and film clubs/societies and can help us.  

Kindly spread the word among your colleagues and near and dear ones.
