If you can manage to get 'udedh-bun' उडेढ़ बुन from ftii that is a good one on puberty. It's a bhojpuri film. I dont remember the name of the director watched it 5-6 years back. It was his diploma film for ftii.

Inset in school its on 'love'. The most amazing portrayal of 'childhood love'

Look for movies for 'use' childhood to say something about the trauma or abuse...they need not have children but might explore childhood states. 

This might include movies like ; I am; Highway etc.
