Interesting websites for scale info

Hi,
here's a little something to start this group off; I think it might be
of interest to those of us who like to build scale models of both the
somewhat obscure and the more common prototypes.
The venerable British "Flight" magazine is available on the web
including a huge pdf-archive of their issues from 1909 and onwards.
It's not really searchable but if you know the year a particular
prototype was built, it's good fun to leaf through the issues from
that year: Quite often you will strike gold! Photograps, drawings as
well as informative texts can be found on almost anything that flew
(and sometimes probably did not...). Amongst other things there´s
quite a bit about the ILUG exhibition in 1923 which I think is of
interest to us Swedish scale "freaks"...

Johan, you are a cruel man. In one post you have givend me many hours
work of browsing through interesting pdf files.....
I must say I did find some treasures in there! For instance a great
3view of a model I am working on for the international indoor contest
in Nijmegen. And quite some pics and info on the Comper Swift which I
probably will build some day. So, I forgive you.

I'm happy that I managed to make you suffer! I think this is a pain
that you, like myself (and I use a dial-up modem with the huge
download times that infers...) will gladly suffer to find more
interesting subjects to waste our time building. Our wives may not
agree...
