It happened one night I was playing a game using my xbox controller and my bluetooth got disconnected I thought the battery just ran out but turns out the bluetooth was actually gone/disconnected/undetected/uninstalled.

The bluetooth toggle was nowhere to be found so I went to search and found out to my surprise I'm not the only one having this issue even old and previous models both desktop and laptops alienware and inspiron did have the same issue. Anyway, going through the results of my research they mostly say that I might need to update and install drivers from support assist once everything is downloaded and installed restart then go to settings > updates and security > check for updates and again once everything is installed restart again your device. Check if you have your bluetooth toggle back on from settings > bluetooth and other device and if you still dont have it click the GET HELP hyperlink found on the right side of your screenif your bluetooth toggle is still nowhere to be found click this and type in missing bluetooth. the automated chat system will guide you through and. Once you get to the point were you will be asked to close all programs hold the power button for 10sec and unplug your desktop for 30sec. then youre on the right track.

The automated chat system will guide you through just type in missing bluetooth. Once you get to the point were its asking you to press power button for 10sec and unplug your deskop for 30sec then you're on the right track. If you still dont have your bluetooth toggle button after you turn on you device go back again to settings > bluetooth and other device and click the get help hyperlink so that you can get an agent will help you out.

Hope this helps, I have no knowledge on computers or anything this is the simplest way for me and going through the results of my research was a bit overwhelming as I have no background for technical stuff.

With help of Dell, I opened Device Manager and found a yellow exclamation under Universal Serial Bus Controllers - Unknown USB Device. When we right-clicked and uninstalled that unknown USB device, the problem cleared right up within 30 seconds.

1. Go to Device Manager and Uninstall the errored USB device (it's probably the only one)
2. IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THIS TO THE LETTER: Hold the power button and turn off your machine. THEN UNPLUG YOUR MACHINE FOR 30 SECONDS.

Everything was fine after I restarted. Apparently it keeps something in memory while the machine is plugged in, even if it's off? So weird. Anyhow, this did it.

Thanks good to know! Also, I noticed that after I posted this my bluetooth really kept missing, not entirely sure if this is from windows 10 having some bad glitch or from the alienware itself. I'm really hoping they'll fix it coz its kinda annoying and its bad for my computer when I do hard resets just to get the bluetooth back on. Thanks for sharing your resolution on this too, I'll try to do this if incase my bluetooth toggle went missing again.

I'm having the same problem and it's highly annoying as it repeats itself over and over and over. In the middle of correspondence in the middle of a game Aurora ryzen 10 has an obvious bluetooth issue and Dell is ignoring it. I see the driver with the ? and uninstall it reinstall it and it goes back to an error state. The ONLY fix I know is to RESET THE BIOS. Which is highly annoying. Uninstalling drivers and reinstalling them doesn't work.

Thank you so much for this.

I started getting this same error today when all of a sudden I noticed my Bluetooth keyboard died. After thinking its battery had run off, I realized my Bluetooth driver was missing from my computer.

I also had to uninstall an Unknown USD device from my Device Manager. After turning off my computer and unplugging its power everything went back to normal.

Thanks so much for sharing this, totally fixed my issue!

Thanks, this fixed it for me. I was pulling my hair out. I use this machine exclusively for Flight Simulator. For everything else it's a Mac or Linux machine. Dell just sent me notice that my warranty/service agreement had just expired. This reminded me of how much I hated Windows at work before I retired.

I recently add the AX200 Desktop Set to my PC build. Wifi works fine, but windows device manager can't find bluetooth device. I've tried some suggestions in the forums like checking & installing the driver, restarting bluetooth services, and finally checking the M.2 Key E Slot in my motherboard. Strangely, when I tried to boot from Linux Ubuntu LTS 20.04 FF, it detected all the capabilities of the network card, both BT and WIFI.

Have you found any solve to this issue for people who are having the issue persist through tons of wipes>restarts>installs>restarts? Personally I dont use the wifi or bluetooth other than for printing, I'm hard wired otherwise and recently went to print something today and notice both my bluetooth and wifi adapters gone. Looked for them in dev manager, both also gone. Did your solution a ton of times to no avail. Updated bios, tried again, nothing. For reference I'm using an Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi, and normally my bluetooth/wifi adapters are disabled, but I can always see them and they're greyed out on my adapters page. I noticed they were just gone today and started troubleshooting and nothing has worked yet. I also did a network reset when all else failed, to try and get it to reinstall all the network adapters but that didnt work either. Anything else you got we can try? Would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I unplugged my LAN connection and made sure windows displayed "no connection" on the taskbar. The WiFi on the AX200 works (it can find networks in search), but I didn't connect it to any network ever. Especially since windows informs me that I have no internet connection whenever I unplug the LAN cable.

If you're sure that you are staying disconnected, then keep uninstalling the drivers and rebooting until the drivers are gone. Remember that this is Wireless and BT both. In the BT case, the Intel driver is gone when you either don't see the device or you see the device listed generically with a Microsoft BT driver (I have modified my instructions above to make this clear). If this never happens (translation: you've done the uninstall/reboot, say, 10 times), then something is broken in your installation (most likely bad installer/uninstaller from Intel). You could try using Microsoft's troubleshooter (see this article for more information) or try one of the third-party driver driver removal products (I don't have a specific recommendation (I personally have never had to use one), but this article provides some recommendations).

If the Intel BT device is just not showing up, there may be a physical problem with your adapter (this is not the only discussion of modules whose Wireless is working fine but BT not at all). It may, however, be a problem with your motherboard's BIOS, so check for BIOS updates.

I have tried the above solution repeatedly and BT simply does not appear in Device Manager. I've uninstalled the devices and all existing drivers then installed the latest Intel drivers (22.80.1 64-bit) for both WiFi and BT. Device Manger shows the WiFi with the correct Intel driver, but no BT at all.

Are there any other solutions? Is this problem also present with newer Intel M.2 adapters like AX210 and AX211? has anyone found another M.2 card that works? Since many other brand M.2 cards use the Intel chipset, I don't want to replace the Intel AX200 card only to find that the replacement card still uses the Intel drivers and doesn't work either.

Same here... No joy using AX200 or AX201 on a Panasonic CF-C2, which comes standard with this type of card. Not this level of card, but the same type only an older model. Everything works really well on this PC and we use it for vehicle diagnostics. The only thing lacking is the network performance. So far, I've tested three different types. Initially, a Chinese seller's version and then genuine Intel direct from Intel. Then a desktop version that also uses e-Key - only I didn't use the antennae that comes with the package.

Unfortunately I have the same problem with bluetooth on AX200. Im very confuset of that. I bought this Wi-Fi card especially for built in BT module. So... I have modern B560 motherboard and still can't to encourage BT module to work. Today I bought separate USB BT key and it works like a charm!

I did the same thing. After testing multiple different units (AX200, AX210, etc.) the problem persisted, so I kept the AX210 installed and purchased an ultra-low-profile USB Bluetooth 5.1 adapter and it works flawlessly.

But after installing Clean windows. I mean I have deleted all the partitions and installed new windows. But after completing the installation everything is working without Wifi. There is no wifi on my laptop now. is not available at this moment so I can't download the driver. I have downloaded multiple drivers but nothing is working. or I don't know which version should be perfect for me. Please anyone help me to find the correct Wifi Driver for my laptop.

@AxlGundamI'm adding that I'm having the exact same problem with my asus b550m-plus wifi motherboard. ASUS support gave me the same fix attempts but nothing worked, they just defaulted to motherboard not being supported by win11 and that I should reverty back to win10. I'm hoping more comments on these message chains could help microsoft fix the issue if the problem is on their end.
