Hello all! - I am in the middle of a workshop and class at Taylor Art
Studio in Tampa which will end in early October. I'll then be going to
Atlanta for 3 weeks, (with a side trip to the wool festival in
Asheville, SAFF - http://www.saffsite.org) for to teach 3 classes at
Spruill Art Center (http://www.spruillarts.org), an Intro to Felting
class and 2 exciting advanced classes, Exploring Felt Hats and Silk &
Wool: Special Effects with Felt: Laminated Felt. There are still
plenty of spots left for all classes, and they are only a month away,
so Atlanta area felters, remember to sign up soon!

After Thanksgiving, I'll be opening my studio in Tampa for workshops
with Christmas presents in mind. I'll be making my own presents
alongside you, ready to offer help and tips. I'll be playing Christmas
music andd serving cookies and punch. I'll give 3 Thursday evening
sessions (3 hours each - $10) and 3 Saturday afternoon sessions (4
hours each - $12). Wool will be available to purchase or you can
bring your own materials. Tools can be borrowed, or you can bring your
own tools. There's room for 8-10 people, so come as a group!

Beginners are also welcome, and you can take Basic Felting Saturday
class (4 hours - $20 plus materials) and start the following Thursday
to work on your presents.

If you want to know more, hours and dates, you can check the calendar
(seee link on sidebar) or just email me. While the workshops are "drop-
in" and you don't have to register, it would be great to know when to
expect you! I'll eat up all the cookies by myself otherwise :)

Atlanta area felters, I hope to see you in October and we can talk
about setting up your own local workshops for Christmas. All it takes
is a big kitchen with running hot water and lots of counter space!

Even more annoying - I dropped off part of that link and I can't
delete that last post. I believe this is the correct link:
