You've said that there's a SLIGHT chance of dust joining forces with the player if, there is a greater threat that both need to overcome to save the timeline. The player obviously doesn't want the timeline to be destroyed and dust just wants the player gone, not the whole timeline itself... So hypothetically, if they were to call a temporary truce... What would their relationship be like? And I'm guessing it doesn't take much for him to betray this weak truce anytime... Lots of back stabbing I'm guessing...
As you said, an appointment in the two will be a kind that can be broken at any time. Sometimes the human break first, sometimes he breaks first. They can betray or promise by deceit from the beginning. They only intend to deceive and use each other.
And what if the player decided to play dumb with him if he were to attack Kris, letting Kris act confused and scared? Would dust know that the player is just bluffing or think Kris doesn't remember him?
Can you clarify something please? You keep insisting that sans does not absorb the souls but you never really explained the full reason. I think that is why so many people keep asking you this repeatively . I understand YOUR reasoning for wanting dusttale to be uniqe and not get mixed up with other aus. It's respectable but What's SANS'S reasoning for not wanting to absorb the souls?
Dark question... (But then again, this au is pretty dark itself) Would dust commit suicide, not knowing what to do next after the human leaves? Or would he simply stay alive and wait for their never coming return?
Would dust miss the human after they're permanently gone?I know it's an odd question but since he fought them for so long, wouldn't he develope at least a little bit of attachment, for being used to killing them and them resetting the world for him?
So, I've got another question related to Murder. Y'know how the Human gets +4 HP (then +7 when they get from LvL 19 to LvL 20) and +2 DMG everytime they LvL up. They also get +1 DEF every 4 LvLs. I've mentioned this since I want to know this: How much would Murder's stats grow everytime he LvLs up ? Would they grow at the same rate the stats of the Human grow or would they grow differently (faster / slower), since he isn't a Human, but a Monster. That's all, thank you !
He will somehow try to get back to the original timeline, but when he finds out that it can't recover... Well, he doesn't have the ability to move the timeline, so he probably has no choice but to stay in the timeline where he is placed. He won't try to find a new life. He'll just going to stay alive and come to an end.
What would happen if the Human managed to kill Dust!Sans and do a True Reset? Will Dust just completely give up on everything (will not kill monsters or bother facing the human anymore), or will he just try it all again?
