Pre-new release

Hi,

before new release, it would be good to also update some essential libs, like e.g. hibernate, jetty, ...

We can test it for possible issues for couple of weeks...

Hi Tomas,

That would be a great idea. Sorry we have been really lax about releasing 3.0 even though it is in production with a number of projects. 

If we upgrade this week across the board, can you provide cycles to test? Also have you had a chance to test the Hazelcast clustering?

Hi Jim,

we are preparing for bigger tests on RC environment (around 100 servers) that will happen in next few weeks, 

so we will be able to test it...

We are using hazelcast since you introduce it to fabric3. On one project we use it also in prod. We found no issues so far.

We are mainly using it in domains at one cloud environment (either in amazon or google) not cross cloud. 

We changed the architecture to not have single domain over multiple cloud providers - domains don't even know about each other, which made the whole system more stable...
