All,
Is there a straightforward way to generate http PUT requests with
either of the HttpTransport implementations so I can use automatic
timing? Is my only other option to use manual timing and a client that
supports PUTs?

You need to use ApacheHC3Transport. Cast your transport to
ApacheHC3Transport and use the putURL signatures.

Thanks, Akara. That's exactly what I was looking for. Awesome.

p.s. I gave a faban overview presentation for my colleagues at
eHarmony the other day, and I made this little video as a (simplified)
intro. It's pretty entertaining, I think.

BTW, it would be great if you would add eHarmony as Faban User on the
wiki. It's our primary performance testing framework for our back-end
services.

This is unimaginable! Someone made a video about Faban ... you made my day.

And yes - I'll add eHarmony to the list of faban users on the website.
