Subject: [adl] geometry constraints language?
To: a...@utlists.utexas.edu

i'm trying to specify how to arrange the cutter with respect to the
workpiece; i've got something like this for arbor milling:

geometry:
   primitive: revolute #like a candlestick
   path:
   -   path perpendicular to axis
   -   axis parallel to workpiece opposite face

what i'm wondering is if there already exists some rigorous formal
language for specifying geometric constraints, so i dont have to
reinvent the wheel. then i can parse that language and call OCC
transformations to build the geometry, instead of hard-coding the
transformations for each process.
