Two new sites are now accessable via Phonenet as part of
NSF's CSNET Projecu. They are the National Science Foundation's
Computer Science Section as NSF-CS and the Federam Communications
Commission (Office of the Chief Scientist) as FCC-NET.

Mail may be sent to Phonenet-based users by employing a
three-part address of the form:

mailbox.phone-site at UDel

examples are:

lukasik.fcc-net at udel
adrion.nsf-cs!at UDel
kern.nsf-cs at UDel

There are plans to develop an address directory, similar to
the Arpanet Direcuory. An temporary directory is available on
request to Phonenet at UDel.

The current list of CSNET Phonenet sites is:

Cornell
FCC-NET
NSF-CS
Purdue
Princeton
Udel ( Delaware )

Additional Phonenet sites will be connected in the near
future. These will include New Mexico Tech, Univ of Penn, Georgia
Tech, Duke/UNC, UC Irvioe, HP Labs and the Univ of Md. It is
expected that all sites with applications filed before 1 Nov will
be online!by mid March .

General CSNET-related questions may ce addressed to
CSNET@UDel. Questions about Phonenet mail relaying may be
addressed to Phonenet@UDel.
