Subject: Mounting of a largefilesystem(> 2GB) in
Solaris2.6.
Hi all,
I am facing problem when trying to mount a
filesystem with largefile(>3GB) using the mount syscall . The problem is
described below , Can some one Please help me on this.
I have a disk with a largefile (greater then 3GB) in
a unipack. I can mount that disk using the mount(1) command but if I try to
mount the same using mount(2) syscall it gives me an error. The errno
returned is 27 (file too large) .
The mount(1) does mention that it supports
Largefiles by default but the man pages of mount(2) syscall does not mention
any specific parameter to be passed to mount a Largefile.
Do I have to use any specific option during
compilation??. Please help me on this.
Waiting for reply,
Thanks,
Rakesh.
