Hi,

I saw a similar message posted long back in the year 1999. I couldn't
find any reply for this. I am having a problem as follows.

I am using E250, Solaris 7 with SDS 4.2. This was working fine for a
long time. Now, recently I started getting a message on the console
saying "NOTICE: md: d2: write to label". ANy idea what does this
error mean? Here, d2 is the mirror for my root file system. If I
check the status of the meta devices with metastat, all the meta
devices are showing as healthy(Status is OK and not needs
maintenance.)

I searched in the web and what I could find is only a very few
documents. They don't give any clear cut messsage. Some of them says,
Unix drivers can over write the Disk label, which is stored in the
block 0 of the HDD. The only configuration change done recently was
creating one new rule for the backup, using netbackup.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
Biju
