Tape stuck in L280

Hello,
I have a Sun Storedge L280 Tape Drive with solstice backup.Due
to frequent power cuts, one of the tapesin the L280 is being stuck in
the transport as the power was off when it was writing onthe tape.It
is giving the error " CART_IN_TRANSPORT
Hardware error code 84h".
I am not able to remove it using the options in the control panel.It
is not able to perform self test.Can anyone tell me how to remove the
stucked tape out of the tranport manually.Is there any other way to
remove the tape out of it.Any help on this would be highly
appreciated.Thanks in advance.
