We are using Oracle Applications on Solaris. Most of the printers we
use and setup in Oracle are HP printers. We have a Cannon
Printer/Copier we need to setup on Solaris for printing from Oracle. I
have setup the printer using lpadmin, but each time we print, the
printer uses tray 2. I have been told that this is probably because
the HP drivers assume that tray 2 is the default tray (since HP
printers have a manual feed tray which is tray 1). But the Cannon
printers do not have a manual feed tray.
My question is, can we setup a printer so that the default tray is tray
1 instead of tray 2?
