One of the important areas of contribution that behavioranalysis has made
has been in teh area of giving feedback to employees. Some advice to
behavior analysts in mangement is thatthey obey some simple rules.
Feedback needs to be given frequenctly (daily ), not once per year. In
addition, managers need to recognize effective performance with praise.
Feedback should be focused on the behavior and not hteperson. Criticism
should be minimized. Also, employees should have performaqnce goals that
they have imput on and that are reviewed on set dates to determine
progress.
