Could someone please repost information on the recent NY State report
extolling ABA for treatment of autism? I'm needing websites, if available,
and a citation for a literature review. Thanks in advance,

For those of you that are interested here is the information for
ordering the Autism Guidelines. If you leave a message they will return

your call promptly. The total for all three books and postage is only
$21.50.

They can be purchased at cost from the NYSDOH; to order write:
Health Education Services
P.O. Box 7126
Albany, NY 12224
or call 518-439-7286 to place Master Card or Visa orders
My understanding is that they will try to fill all in-state orders
before complying with out-of-state requests.
There are actually 3 separate documents: the Autism/PDD Clinical
Practice Guideline Technical Report, which includes
the full text of all recommendations, background information, and a full

report of the research process and evidence
reviewed (434 pages; 1999 publication no. 4217); a Report of the
Recommendations, which includes the full text of all
recommendations, background information, and a summary of the evidence
(322 pages; 1999 publication no. 4215); and
a Quick Reference Guide for Parents and Professionals, which summarizes
the major recommendations and background
information (108 pages; 1999 publication no. 4216). You can also check
their website to see if they have been posted there: NYSDOH web page
(www.health.state.ny.us).

I hope this helps for those that are interested in ordering.
